Slideshow from our Performance at The Smithsonian Portrait Gallery.
From
regular appearances at The Kennedy Center Roof Terrace Restaurant,
to the Annual concerts at The Smithsonian Portrait Gallery, Potomac
Jazz Project has been keeping the fun in jazz all over the DC metro
area and the entire Mid-Atlantic.
Potomac
Jazz Project is a modern classic jazz quartet that delights audiences
with fresh arrangements of jazz from all eras - from the swingin'
rhythms and catchy melodies of Duke Ellington through the hot and
cool jazz of the 50's of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis, up to the
funkiness of Horace Silver and Herbie Hancock.
…and
listen to what the others say…
"Their
classic repertoire that they enliven with catchy, memorable arrangements
has earned them rave reviews and a loyal following." Alexandria
Times
"It's
easy to forget that jazz is supposed to be as much fun as it is arty.
That's where the Potomac Jazz Project comes in." Washington City
Paper.
