The Potomac Jazz Duo - a nice full sound for quieter settings or as background music for an event. A great choice for smaller events or venues, or when there is a limited budget. Our configuration of guitar (most frequently featuring Wammie award winning guitarist Phil Mathieu) and acoustic bass (Potomac Jazz Project leader Stan Hamrick) allows for lower volume, yet energetic music. And we not only play jazz standards, but we can spice up the evening with bossa novas, tangos, songs with a Spanish influence, and even some pop tunes.
